AdvoCare...so what is it???  AdvoCare is a nutrition program that specializes in health and wellness, weight management, vibrant energy, and sports performance.

I started using AdvoCare products a little over 2 1/2 year ago.  I have several friends that have lost lots of weight and kept it off by using AdvoCare products.  AdvoCare has a 24-day challenge that begins with a 10-day cleanse and it helps start you in the right direction of losing weight and getting fit.  Last month I did the 10-day cleanse and lost 8 pounds and 2 dress sizes.  This program is very easy to follow and it allows you change your life for the better.

You may be asking what can I eat and what can I not eat?

Whether you are on the 24-day challenge or the 10-day cleanse or just doing AdvoCare in generally here are some things that I follow:

Breakfast:
Protein
Complex Carb
Fruit

Lunch:
Protein
Veggies
Complex Varb

Dinner:
Protein 
Veggies
Fruit or Complex Carb (if you need it)

Everyday on the program you are going to have 3 servings of protein roughly 4-6 oz in size.

Protein Ideas: Chicken Breast, Eggs, Gound Beef or Turkey (93% lean at least), Lean Fish (tilapia, red snapper, cod, etc), Salmon, Tofu, Tuna (fresh or packed), Turkey Breast.

AdvoCare Meal Replacement Shakes and Muscle Gain are good sources of proteins.

Next you are going to have 2 servings of vegetables for lunch and dinner.

Veggie ideas: Asparagus, Broccoli, Brussells Sprouts, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumber, Eggplant, Green Beans, Onion, Peppers, Salad Greens, Tomato, and Zucchini/Squash.

You also need your Complex Carbs 2 servings/1 additional if needed

Beans, Lentils, Oatmeal, Quinoa, Potatoes, Whole Grains (rice, pasta, or bread).

You are also going to have 3 snacks a day. Snack ideas include Avocado, Nut Butter (no added sugar, oil, or salt), Nuts or Seeds (raw or roasted - no added sugar, oil, or salt).  Other AdvoCare snacks include AdvoBars

Fruit: You can have fruit as a snack or for part of your breakfast or both.  Fruit ideas are: Apple, Banana, Berries, Grapes, Kiwi, Mango, Melon, Pear, and Citrus fruits.

Limit and/or avoid: Soda (including diet), Candy, Fried Foods, Processed foods, white flour, Partially hydrogenated oils, sugar, creamy sauces, high caloric dressings, and alcohol.  I also avoid coffee and coffee creamers.
